Vicchio Weather

Stunning Tuscan countryside, easy access to the beautiful cities of Italy and a sunny climate make Vicchio an ideal Italian holiday location. The climate in Vicchio is typically Mediterranean, hot dry summers and mild winters. Peak summer temperatures from June to September can reach 30C and over but humidity levels are relatively low and the heat is never excessive. Rainfall is distributed evenly throughout the year with November seeing the most rainfall. Winter temperatures in Vicchio are mild at around 10C; comparable to a warm spring day in the UK.

 

Holiday makers who love hot but not excessive weather will find the climate in Vicchio ideal. From April through to early October the temperature will not usually dip below the 20C mark. From May onwards the temperature will head over 25C with June, July, and August bringing the hottest weather. Sunshine levels are also high in Vicchio and the peak summer months bring around 11 hours of sunshine per day. This is the perfect time to explore the Tuscan countryside or to take in excursions to nearby cities and towns such as Florence, Pisa, and Lucca.

 

Vicchio does receive rainfall during the late autumn and winter months but this will not usually be frequent enough to disturb any holiday.
