History
Monteriggioni is a small, classically Italian, walled town - remarkably well preserved and steeped in history. Take a walk along the town walls or explore the medieval piazzas and streets. There are some buildings from the 13th Century as well as a Roman-Gothic church. The beautiful public gardens in the town were used to feed the residents when the village was under siege.
