Lucca Weather – Sun drenched Tuscan city
The beautiful city of Lucca basks in warm sunshine for most of the year. Summers holidays in Lucca are hot but not excessively so and the winters are short and mild. The excellent weather in Lucca means that a holiday in the sun is achievable at any time of the year. Rainfall is evenly distributed throughout the year with showers increasing during early spring, late autumn and the winter months. June, July, and August are the peak summer months and temperatures in Lucca will usually hover just below the 30C mark although this temperature can be exceeded.
Weather in Lucca – High temperatures during the summer
The spring months are one of the most popular times to visit Lucca and there are plenty of warm sunny days during March. By April the temperature in Lucca will hover around the 20C mark and the sun will be shining down for around seven hours per day. May is another beautiful month in Lucca and by this point the evening temperatures will also be warm at around 14C; perfect for dinners on the terrace. The peak summer season months will bring the highest temperatures but the heat is warm rather that intensely hot. Humidity during the summer is relatively low and should not be a problem for most holiday makers.
Lucca Weather – Beautiful spring and autumn weather
Autumn in Lucca is a particularly beautiful time of the year with the changing colours and warm temperatures. Rainfall will be slightly higher during this month but should not disrupt any holiday in Lucca. The warm spring and autumn months are the perfect time to explore the Tuscany region and visit exciting cities such as nearby Pisa, Florence, and the coastal beach region. The winter months in Lucca will see temperatures of around 10C, which is comparable to a warm spring day in the UK.
