Citerna Things To Do

The rolling hills of Tuscany offer an idyllic base for a relaxing holiday, and the chance to soak up the atmosphere in the glorious landscapes found around Citerna. No trip to Italy is complete without experiencing the delicious food and wine of the region, and the medieval town of Citerno is home to a good choice of restaurants and bars, featuring plenty of hearty Tuscan fare. 

 

A great day out is a trip to the famous antiques market at Arezzo, which is just a 20 minute drive. Taking place on the first Sunday of each month, the market features huge numbers of stalls selling furniture, art, sculpture and jewellery. The town also boasts a rich heritage with plenty of historical buildings, museums and churches to tour.

 

There are a wealth of other day trips from Citerna, with most of the main Tuscan attractions well within reach - including Cortona, Perugia, Siena, Pisa and Florence - whilst the coast lies less than 2 hours away.
