Arezzo
A great day out is a trip to the famous antiques market at Arezzo, which is just a 20 minute drive. Taking place on the first Sunday of each month, the market features huge numbers of stalls selling furniture, art, sculpture and jewellery. The town also boasts a rich heritage with plenty of historical buildings, museums and churches to tour.

There are a wealth of other day trips from Citerna, with most of the main Tuscan attractions well within reach - including Cortona, Perugia, Siena, Pisa and Florence - whilst the coast lies less than 2 hours away.
