Marina d ' Agro Weather

Located on the northeast coast of Sicily, just around the bay from Taormina, the quiet and sophisticated resort of Marina d'Agro enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate, with plenty of hot summer weather and abundant sunshine. With peak season temperatures of between 25C - 28C, weather in Marina d'Agro is ideal for a relaxing coastal break.

 

Spring sees very pleasant conditions in Marina d'Agro, with April and May enjoying temperatures of 16C - 21C, and 6 - 7 hours of sunshine each day. Although the waters of the Ionian Sea only reach 16C at this time, the weather is perfect for strolls in the town, and the chance to explore the area's sights and enjoy leisurely walks and hikes. The days are generally dry, but these spring days can be changeable, with the resort receiving 30mm - 40mm of rain each month. By June the daytime highs rise to 25C, and in July and August, Marina d'Agro sees 10 hours of daily sunshine, with increased humidity. Days are dry, with just 15mm of rain falling each month in the peak season period. The warm seas reach temperatures of up to 26C - ideal for swimming, water sports and boat trips along the rocky coastline. 

 

Conditions remain warm and dry into autumn, with September seeing daytime highs of 25C, and October dropping down to 20C. There is increased rainfall at this time, with October to December receiving 80mm - 100mm of rain each month, but a minimum of 4 hours of sunshine, and lows of 13C. January and February experience the coldest weather in Marina d'Agro, with lows of 11C - 12C.
