Passo Tonale sits at an altitude of 1,880m high up in the Vale di Sole in the Italian Alps, on the borders of Lombardy and Trentino. The resort is an established winter ski resort, and sees cold weather during the winter months, but its mild temperate climate attracts visitors during the spring and summer seasons too.

Spring sees temperatures of around 10C - 15C in April and May in Passo Tonale, warming up in June and July with highs of 19C - 22C. There are around 6 - 7 hours of sunshine each day, with this pleasant warm weather making ideal conditions for exploring the mountains and lakes of the region, and for enjoying the outdoors with scenic walks and bike rides. Night-time temperatures drop to 8C - 10C during the summer months. There is increased rainfall during the summer, with the period from May to September experiencing between 80mm - 100mm each month.
