Walking & Hiking
The Italian Alps are a delight to explore in the spring and summer months, and the Stelvio and Adamello Brenta National Parks offer a range of marked trails to follow. The extensive lift system allows visitors to tour the heights of the mountains and and discover the beauty of the Passo Tonale, with its dazzling views and crisp clean air.
Biking
Mountain bikes can be rented and are a great way to get around the entire Val di Sole region, and there are a number of tours through the mountains for avid cyclists, and signposted routes for all levels of rider to follow.
Golf
A 9-hole golf course in Ponte di Legno gives summer visitors the chance to enjoy a round whilst taking in the stunning high-altitude scenery.
Sports
Other sports to enjoy include swimming, tennis, horse riding and archery, whilst the mountains offer opportunities for rock-climbing, paragliding and canyoning.
Lakes & Rivers
The Noce River, and the local streams and lakes offer ideal conditions for fly-fishing and angling, whilst adventurous visitors can try kayaking and white-water rafting.
Day Trips
The region is home to a number of picturesque alpine villages at the bottom of the valley, with charming old squares and quaint churches to tour. Day trips include Ponte di Legno and Vermiglio.
Skiing
Although Passo Tonale is a major destination for enthusiasts during the winter ski season, its proximity to the Presena Glacier also allows for summer skiing too.
