Unwind on the Italian Riviera
Holidays in the Liguria region boast a seemingly endless coastline. The more accessible western Riviera di Poneanta makes the ideal destination for a perfect beach holiday. The appealing mix of sandy beaches, Italian food and hospitality is hard to beat.

Take the train

To be kinder to your credit card head to the equally pretty but more down to earth resort of Santa Margherita Ligure right next door. 

Escape to the sleepy centre
As most people head to Liguria to enjoy the wonderful beaches, things can get crowded at times. If you need a break from the bustle of the coast, head inland where things are a little quieter. Sleepy, traditional villages, swathes of olive groves, walks in the mountains or picnics by pretty rivers await.
