Selci Weather

Selci lies in the hills of the Latium region just north of Rome, 40km from the city and its sights, and provides a quiet rural base, ideal for a relaxing holiday. The region enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with hot summer months and colder winters, and the spring and autumn months offering ideal weather for touring the scenic countryside with comfortable conditions. The average annual temperature in Selci is 21C.  

 

April sees warm weather in Selci, with an average high of 18C and 7 hours of daily sunshine, rising to 23C in May. This climate is perfect for exploring the lush green countryside and sightseeing in the area, as the temperatures are comfortable and there is 7 - 9 hours of sunshine each day. Night-time temperatures are around 8C - 11C, although the days can be changeable, seeing around 65mm of rain in April, but dropping to 42mm in May. June in Selci begins to heat up, with average temperatures of 27C, and up to 10 hours of sunshine each day, with these hotter days attracting more visitors as the season progresses. July and August experience the hottest weather of the year, with highs of 30C, and as much as 11 hours of sun, and the driest conditions, too, with between 19mm - 35mm of rainfall each month. Humidity increases at this time, and the night-time temperature rises to 17C - 18C.                           

Autumn remains a popular time for a holiday to Selci, with the weather continuing to be sunny and warm, and the countryside and its hillsides boasting wonderful colours. September sees average highs of 27C, and a steady 8 hours of sun, whilst October remains at 22C, with 6 hours of sunshine. Rainfall does increase, with these months receiving 75mm - 95mm each, and November being the wettest month, with 117mm falling. Winters see a marked drop in temperature, with December to February experiencing the coldest weather of the year - between 12C - 13C.
