Cesena Weather – Sunny Italian countryside and high temperatures
Holiday makers who love long hot Mediterranean summers will not be disappointed with the climate in Cesena. The summer months will be hot and dry while the spring and autumn months will be pleasantly warm with temperatures hovering around the 20C mark. Rainfall is distributed evenly throughout the year with heavier showers appearing during the late autumn and winter months. The winter weather in Cesena is also relatively mild with an average 10C temperature.
 
Weather in Cesena – Summer temperatures of 30C
Summer in Cesena is a very popular time for UK and Italian holiday makers alike. The summer temperatures do head towards the 30C mark during the peak summer months of July and August, although they can exceed this. Sunshine levels are also high at around 10 hours per day. This is the perfect season to explore the mountainous countryside or head to the Adriatic Coast to enjoy the beaches at Rimini.  From May until the end of September the temperature in Cesena will not usually dip below the 20C mark and the Emilia-Romagna region is well known for its abundance of sunshine.
 
Cesena Weather – Warm and sunny spring and autumn months
Spring does come early in Cesena, and by late spring the sea temperatures at nearby Rimini are usually warm enough for bathing. This is a particularly beautiful time of the year in Cesena with the flowers blooming and the scent of the olive groves and vineyards drifting through the warm air. September through to November will also see temperatures in Cesena ranging from 24C to 13C although the warm sunny days may be interrupted by light showers. The winter period in Cesena can be quite mild with temperatures hovering just under the 10C mark. Although evening temperatures do drop during the winter they will rarely ever reach below freezing point.
