Positano Town
Positano is a town perched on a Cliffside that is the epitome in Italian charm and sophistication. It is much beloved by the jet set crowd and yet there is not a hint of exclusivity about this beautiful part of Italy. Positano is postcard pretty and very lively for much of the year. The romantic and dramatic Amalfi coastline is one reason why Positano is a very popular choice for weddings and honeymoons, and yes there is even a beach.

Positano is an ideal base from which to explore the Amalfi Coast. Trips to the vibrant city of Sorrento and Ravello will provide a combination of both vibrant city life and laid back Italian charm. Naples is another city that holds a wealth of sightseeing attractions, and the ancient ruined city of Pompeii is one sight that should not be missed.

There is an excellent selection of restaurants and cafes in Positano. Holiday makers can choose from upmarket restaurants serving the best in authentic Italian cuisine or head to the beach area where mouth-watering fresh seafood and fish dishes are served in the bars and restaurants. The nightlife in Positano is a laid back affair although there are plenty of bars and nightclubs especially around the beach area. The beachfront area also has an open air nightclub that is perfect during the long hot summer nights. The nearby town of Amalfi also provides outdoor musical concerts during the summer months.
The Island of Capri
A boat trip to Capri will allow holiday makers to enjoy one of the world’s most glamorous and beautiful islands. Capri is the definition of jet set sophistication filled with upmarket restaurants and expensive yachts. A glimpse of the sunset over the Bay of Naples is worth the visit alone.
