Amalfi Weather – One of the best climates in Europe
Amalfi has long been a highly desired holiday location thanks to it breathtaking scenery and exceptional climate. The weather in Amalfi is a combination of long hot summer months, pleasant spring and autumn seasons, and short warm winters. Rainfall in Amalfi will be minimal during the summer months but will increase during the autumn, spring and winter months. The mountainous terrain of Italy offers Amalfi much protection from the winds throughout the year and there really is no season without sunshine. Weather in Amalfi – 30C summer temperatures
Summers in Amalfi do begin during May when the temperature heads over 25C. July and August will bring the hottest weather with temperatures easily hitting 30C and above. The sun will be hot and strong during the peak summer months, which is the reason for daily siestas during the afternoons. Sunshine levels in Amalfi are also high and holidaymakers can expect around 10 hours of hot sunshine per day. The summer months are the perfect time to relax on the beaches of Positano and Ravello and swim in the 25C Mediterranean waters. September is another hot month and temperatures will still be high at 26C and occasionally above.
Amalfi Weather – Warm spring, autumn and winter months
Many holidaymakers visit Amalfi during the spring and autumn months to enjoy the cooler weather. March and April will be warm at 15C to 20C as the summer months approach. October and November will also see temperatures of around 17C to 22C with seven hours of sunshine per day. The spring and autumn months will be pleasantly warm and are perfect for sightseeing spectacular cities such as Naples. Winter holidays in Amalfi will be cooler but still warm compared to the UK with temperatures hovering around 14C and plenty of Italian sunshine to enjoy.
