Situated in one of the most stunning spots on the Sinai Peninsula, the InterContinental Hotel has a seafront position looking out across the Red Sea, with its own 250m stretch of private beach. The hotel enjoys a peaceful, secluded location, around 17kn from Taba town centre – however the resort is easily accessed by bus or taxi. Once in Taba, a range of excursions can be arranged, including boat trips to neighbouring Israel and Jordan, Bedouin under-the-stars feasts and camel safaris. The hotel is next door to the Taba Heights 18-hole PGA championship golf course.

 

Accommodation at the hotel consists of 503 spacious and clean rooms, set in three large buildings named the Crescent, Pentagon and Atrium. One of the buildings has 5 floors and the other two have 4 floors. Rooms are elegant and tastefully decorated, and all come with double or twin beds, satellite TV, air conditioning, mini-fridge, hair dryer, telephone, internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, full bathroom and balcony or terrace. Twin rooms for sole occupancy and sea view rooms can booked at a supplement.

 

As one would expect from a large Egyptian 5-star hotel, the InterContinental Hotel has a wealth of facilities on offer. Some of the most striking features of the hotel are its impressive water features. Five clean, turquoise pool surrounded by sun terraces and cushioned loungers provide a great spot to catch some rays. Even these beautiful pools, however, are overshadowed by the expansive man-made lagoon, which stretches right up to the hotel’s private sandy beach.
