Waikkal Weather

Waikkal Weather – Stunning beaches and high temperatures
Waikkal boasts a tropical climate, which means hot weather all year round. Temperatures in Waikkal will never usually dip below 27C and there is very little variation in temperature throughout the year. The major difference in the weather in Waikkal will come with the monsoon seasons, which occur May to August and October to January. Heavy rains can be expected during both monsoons seasons although Sri Lanka does not suffer from the severe winds that troubles India. The monsoon seasons will not dampen the high 31C temperatures. Sunshine levels average eight hours of hot sunshine per day throughout the year and daylight hours are around 13 hours per day.
