Weather in Merville Beach Hotel - A stable and hot climate
Situated in the north of the island of Mauritius, Merville Beach hotel enjoys a tropical oceanic climate with constant high temperatures. The south western trade winds from the Indian Ocean are usually felt along the coasts of Mauritius, however this is not so on the sheltered northern beaches. This means that the climate here is the most stable on the island, so choosing a holiday to Melville Beach ensures calm conditions and more sunshine hours than the south coast! Temperatures can easily rise to 30°C and rarely fall below 13°C even at night. Be sure to bring protection from the sun which can be fierce during the hottest months.
