There's also a marked increase in humidity, which continues until June.

May sees the beginning of the rainy season, with the resort seeing 211mm of rainfall, and between 160mm - 190mm each month during the summer. There are still high temperatures of 30C at this time, and a steady 7 hours of sunshine each day, and by July the humidity has decreased again. Conditions remain constant until September and October, when the rains increase, with 213mm and 229mm falling respectively.
