Weather in Reethi Beach Resort - Tropical climate in Baa Atoll in the Maldives 
Located in the Baa Atoll, which sits in the north west region of the Maldives atoll chain, Reethi Beach Resort experiences a hot tropical climate. Like the rest of the islands, the resort has a climate affected by two distinct seasons - the northeast monsoon and the southwest monsoon - which dictate the peak season for holiday-makers.

The average temperature in Reethi Beach Resort hovers around 30C all year, with the region experiencing at least 7 hours of sunshine every day. The British winter sees the best weather for a beach holiday in Reethi Beach Resort, with January and February, in particular, enjoying dry days with up to 9 hours of sun, and a high but not unbearable humidity level. The winters see the driest weather of the year, with as little as 68mm of rain falling during the month of January. Sea temperatures remain around 28C - ideal conditions for swimming, water sports and boat trips, and the hot dry weather means plenty of relaxing sunbathing and beach activities. Spring experiences the hottest weather in Reethi Beach Resort, with March seeing the temperature rise to 32C, and the humidity increase up until the end of June.      
 
Weather in Reethi Beach Resort - Wetter summer months, due to monsoon 
The southwest monsoon hits the region in May, and brings an increase in rainfall - with the summer period seeing around 200mm of rain each month. May, September and October are the wettest months, with up to 229mm falling at these times. During the monsoon, the resort still sees plenty of sunshine, however, with the sun out for an average of 7 hours each day.
