Full Moon Beach Resort Weather – An abundance of sunshine
Full Moon Beach Resort is located in the North Male Atoll, an area of the Maldives blessed with over 2700 hours of sunshine per year. This area also receives less rainfall and higher temperatures than the Southern Atolls and is considered one of the world’s most desired holiday locations. The temperature in Full Moon Beach Resort will not usually dip below 30C throughout the year and most months will receive around eight hours of sunshine per day. November to the end of April is considered the high season in Full Moon Beach Resort. During this period the weather will be hot and there will be less chance of rainfall. Humidity levels will also be low during throughout the year although they will rise between March and June. Temperatures are a constant 30C and over throughout the year and although this may seem high there will always be cool breezes that drift in from the Indian Ocean. Strolling along the beaches during the evening will also be a pleasure in the 26C warm night air.

Sun drenched is usually a phrase associated with the Maldives but being a tropical destination it does receive some rainfall. The main monsoon season in Full Moon Beach Resorts appears in May and ends around November. Rainfall will never be continuous throughout this period and can be over in a matter of minutes. The monsoon season will not dampen the high temperatures and there will still be plenty of sunshine to enjoy during the low season.
