Biyadoo Island Resort weather - A tropical island paradise
Bidayoo Island Resort is an affordable paradise situated in the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. Biyadoo is north of the equator and the climate here is tropical, with constant high temperatures and a distinct rainy season. The 25 acre island is packed with coconut and palm trees, and tropical birds and wildlife live in the central vegetation of the island. Average temperatures are around 28°C all year round and colder weather is very rare. The hottest months with the least rainfall are March and April, with temperatures rising to up to 32°C. Humidity is naturally high in the Maldives but the warm sea winds that breeze across the Indian Ocean keep the heat bearable on the hottest days. Be sure to wear a high factor sun cream and drink enough water during your trip.

Biyadoo Island Weather - Top diving and snorkelling weather
With tropical weather and perfect beaches, it is no surprise that the Maldives are recognised as one of the top places to dive and snorkel in the world. With sea temperatures hovering between 20-28°C all year round, it would be hard to find a better place to dive and snorkel than Biyadoo. The sea currents in the reef around Biyadoo are not as strong as on other nearby resorts, meaning that diving here is a more relaxing experience.

Weather in Biyadoo - Monsoon season
Choose the dates of your holiday to Biyadoo carefully if you are put off by rainfall. Monsoon season in Biyadoo runs from May to September, with the highest rainfall in June and July. However, even in the months with the heaviest rain, sunshine hours are still high at a generous seven hours a day, as the daily rainfall is torrential but often short lived. And remember, it won't take you long to dry off on the beach!
