Although Colva boasts a number of amenities for visitors, the scene is nothing like the renowned resorts of the north, such as Baga and Anjuna, and the atmosphere is still laid-back and casual. Winter temperatures in Sernabatim hover between 32C - 33C, with the resort seeing up to 10 hours of sunshine each day during the peak season months from November to March. The night-time temperature ranges from 20C - 23C. The Arabian Sea reaches 28C which is very pleasant conditions for swimming. These months see very limited rainfall, with November and December experiencing up to 40mm and January and February seeing no rain at all. Humidity levels in Sernabatim remain high, and rise to an extremely elevated level towards the end of the season in March before the monsoon arrives.
