Low-rise, whitewashed Mediterranean-style buildings spread out around a turquoise, lagoon-style pool give the Aliathon Holiday Village a true traditional Greek-town feel. The complex is split into two themed areas – the Fishing Village and the Aegean Village – which share a wide range of facilities. The Aliathon Holiday Village is located just 150m from the nearest sandy beach and around 2km from the fishing harbour of Paphos, with its shops, restaurants and bars. Those interested in history and culture should visit Paphos Castle and the Tombs of the Kings burial chambers. There is a good selection on amenities within easy walking distance of the hotel. Avid golfers will find three 18-hole golf courses within 15km. Paphos Airport is only 10km away and Larnaca Airport is 140km.

 

Accommodation at the complex consists of 270 spacious and clean rooms with attractive furnishings. Rooms comprise of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Arguably the jewel in the crown of the complex is its huge free-form outdoor pool, which at 3,000 m2 is the largest pool in Cyprus. A kid’s pirate-themed pool with slides and sprinklers is guaranteed to keep the children entertained, while a quiet pool in peaceful surroundings is great for relaxing around. And then there’s a fourth free form pool on-site as well. Recreational activities include a fitness room, sauna, floodlit tennis courts, table tennis, pool tables, 2 bowling greens, 2 football pitches and much more. Guests can choose to dine at either the buffet restaurant, Greek Taverna or Mexican Cantina, while three poolside bars serve refreshments throughout the day and two lounge-style bars provide drinks and entertainment in the evenings.
