Hotel Navarria, Limassol

Located in a great sea-front location, ideal for a beach holiday, the Hotel Navarria is a large 3-star hotel in the ancient and beautiful area of Amathus in Limassol. Rooms are simple but spacious, with tasteful interior design. The on-site restaurant serves good, wholesome food with a themed menu that is changed daily. There is a lively lobby bar with a large lounge where entertainment is put on in the evenings. A good-sized rectangular pool is surrounded by extensive sun terraces. Reviews frequently praise the excellent communal areas, close proximity to the beach and cleanliness of the hotel. Its elevated position and interior architectural design mean this hotel may not be suitable for the mobility impaired.

 

The hotel is located a stone’s throw from a wide sandy beach. There are numerous bars, restaurants and shops a short walk away, and the main resort centre of Limassol is 4km away with a bus service running from a stop opposite the hotel every 20 minutes. Limassol is the second largest city in Cyprus, with a huge array of things to see and do. Highlights include the medieval castle, the Folk Art museum, the beautiful Public Gardens complete with mini-zoo and the Archaeological Museum. Those visiting in early September should be sure to check out the Wine Festival of Cyprus, held in the Limassol Municipal Garden. The ancient ruins of Amathus are around 9km away and easily accessible by taxi.

 

Accommodation at the Hotel Navarria consists of 130 elegantly decorated twin rooms. All rooms come with twin beds and an additional camp bed (if required) and sleep up to 3 adults. Rooms come with satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, radio, safety deposit box, full bathroom with WC and balcony or terrace. Many rooms have sea views of the sapphire-blue Mediterranean.

 

The complex provides a good selection of facilities for guests. There is a large outdoor swimming pool surrounded by split-level sun terrace with parasols and sun loungers. A stylish buffet restaurant serves a variety of dishes from a menu that is changed daily. The spacious lobby bar, with its comfortable leather armchairs and sofas, is an excellent place to sip a cocktail while enjoying the shows and live music put on in the evenings. For those who want to relax and unwind, there is a health centre providing massage therapies, a steam room, sauna and a good-sized gym. Entertainment facilities include a tennis court, pool table, table tennis, darts and video games. There is also a 24-hour reception, an internet corner and free parking on-site.
