Koropi Weather

Koropi Weather – Warm summers
This is Greece, so the summer weather in Koropi will be oven-hot, yes? Well, in the parts of Greece with a Mediterranean climate, that might be so. However, the Pelion peninsula has a more Alpine climate, although this is tempered slightly by the fact that Koropi is on the coast. It all adds up to weather in Koropi that's pleasantly warm in July and August at around 26 degrees. Come here in winter and you'll see snow – enough to justify a nearby ski resort – and plenty of rain.

Weather in Koropi – Nice out of season
Weather in Koropi isn't such a big factor for the active visitor. For them, there's plenty to do here. Beyond exploring the mountains and the beaches, there's ski-ing, trekking, horseriding and cycling, all of which can be done in summer, thanks to Koropi's cooler climate. In July and August, the mercury creeps up to around the mid-20s, which is pleasantly warm enough to do most outdoor activities in comfort. If that's still too sticky for you, a visit in spring or autumn could be better, when the temperature hovers around the high teens and low 20s.

Koropi weather – Get covered up
The weather on a holiday in Koropi isn't as hot and humid as the country's more Mediterranean regions. However, summer temperatures here can still hit the low 30s celsius. That means that you should take some simple precautions – cover your exposed areas with light clothing, wear shades and apply high-factor sunscreen regularly. If you're a sun-worshipper, try to resist the lure of the beach between midday and 3pm, when the sun's at its hottest, and slurp plenty of water. If you're coming in spring or autumn, pack a light jumper or fleece for those evenings under the stars.
