Yialova Weather
Yialova Weather – Great off-season
Sun-worshippers will love the Yialova weather at the height of summer. Guidebook temperatures will tell you the mercury climbs to around 33 degrees but, on some days, you might need to add another five or even ten Celsius to that figure. If you prefer your weather a little more temperate, a holiday in Yialova in spring or autumn might be more comfortable. At these times, you can enjoy Yialova in temperatures hovering in the low to mid 20s, making trekking, horseriding and mountain biking much more pleasant.
Weather in Yialova – Scorching summers
The weather in Yialova is very much Mediterranean. This means that sizzling summers are very long indeed – you can still enjoy pleasant temperatures in the 20s as far back as November. In the height of summer, July and August, you can expect heat well into the 30s Celsius and perhaps even into the low 40s. High-factor sunscreen is definitely required, as is a willingness to keep out of the sun at peak times of the day. Summer begins in May, and temperatures are pleasant at around 21°C, which rises to 25°C by June. Rain is virtually unheard of in peak season and a fleece probably won't be required on evenings in July and August, as the mercury rarely drops below 22°C. A little rain falls between October and May, although the air temperature is still relatively warm.
Yialova Weather – Dress to beat the heat
Dress wisely to beat the Yialova heat, as the weather in summer can be brutal. It's also usually long, with hot temperatures right into late October and on into early November. Cover up in the sunshine with light clothing and always wear a protective hat. Slap on high-factor sunscreen on those exposed areas and, if you enjoy sunbathing, try to keep off the sands between 12 and 3pm, when the sun reaches its peak. Use a high-factor sunscreen and drink lots of water. If you're in Yialova in spring or autumn, keep warm on chillier evenings with a jumper or fleece.
