Polichrono weather – sizzling summer weather
Naturally, a big feature of holidays in Polichrono is the climate. Summer temperatures of 30C – and sometimes more – make for a sizzling holiday under clear skies, with the heat relieved only by the seasonal breezes known locally as the meltemia. Mountain areas, however, are much cooler and even attract snow outside the summer months. On level ground, winters tend to be mild, with frost and snow a rarity. If it rains, it tends to be between November and March.
