Kalithea Weather - Beach in glorious sunshine
The superb beaches you’ll visit on holiday in Kalithea are enjoyed to their fullest in the extensive holiday season, which spans all the way from late April to October. Should you fancy an Easter break away to a sunny, relaxing location, Kalithea is for you, with temperatures in April and May reaching highs of 20C to 24C. The beach becomes increasingly popular the further into summer you go, and for good reason; the temperatures of up to an astonishing 31C in July and August! Add that to the long hours of sunshine on offer in Kalithea (as many as 14 hours a day in August, with a minimum of 9 in the holiday season), and you have the perfect conditions for an amazing Mediterranean beach break for much of the calendar year.

Cooler climates come in the months outside of the traditional holiday season, with the daytime temperatures that range from 14C in January to a high 17C in March ideal for exploring the resorts many historical attributes. The breathtaking ancient Greek architecture and Byzantine temples can all be enjoyed in comfort in the winter and spring seasons, when hours of sunshine extend to around 7 hours.
 
Kalithea Weather - Limited rainfall makes for an unspoilt holiday
As with most holiday resorts in Mediterranean climates, the rainfall during the summer in Kalithea is relatively meagre, with an average of around 6mm of rain falling per month throughout the summer. At the height of summer in July, you can expect approximately 2 days of rainfall, making planning relaxing days on the beach that bit easier. The most rainfall will occur in December, with 168mm of rain falling over the space of around two weeks out of the month, however for the majority of the year, the skies are blue and the sun is shining in this idyllic getaway on the Kassandra peninsula.
