Tsilivi Weather

Tsilivi lies on the east coast of Zante, just 5km from Zante Town, and offers a great base for a beach holiday on the island. Thanks to the Mediterranean climate and the abundant sunshine, conditions are ideal for relaxing on the beach during the tourist season, which runs from May to October.  

 

April sees warm spring weatherfor a Tsilivi holiday, which is a good time to travel to beat the crowds before the temperature heats up too much. Days are ideal for getting out walking, cycling and sightseeing, when Tsilivi sees average highs of 19C and 8 hours of daily sunshine, and conditions are generally dry, with 48mm of rain. May warms up to 24C, with 10 hours of sun each day, and by June the resort is basking in 28C weather, accompanied by 12 hours of sunshine. Early summers sees limited rainfall of 10mm - 22mm in May and June, and by peak season, the days are extremely dry, with less than 10mm each month. July and August see temperatures soar to 31C and the humidity level rise, and in these summer months the waters of the Ionian Sea are ideal for swimming, reaching temperatures of 26C.

 

Hot weather continues into September, when the temperature remains at 28C and the sun shines for 10 hours each day, and there is a slight increase in rain with 35mm falling. October cools down, with highs of 23C, and there is much more rain at this time - a monthly average of 1344mm. Winter holidays in Tsilivi remain rainy, with the wettest month of December receiving 188mm, and the temperatures staying mild, just dropping to 14C.
