Weather in Kalamaki - Mediterranean climate on Zante's south coast
Kalamaki lies on the south coast of Zante, at the quieter end of Laganas Bay, just minutes from the airport. Kalamaki Weather - Hot dry summers, perfect for the beach
April sees warm weather in Kalamaki, and can be a good time to visit for those looking to explore the island or enjoy outdoor activities before it gets too hot. Temperatures reach 19C and the days are generally dry, with 48mm of monthly rain, and in May the weather gets hotter, rising to 24C with 10 hours of daily sunshine. By June, Kalamaki is enjoying 28C weather with 12 hours of daily sunshine, and pleasant warm evenings, with the nightly temperature hovering around 18C. Peak season experiences very hot dry weather with temperatures of 31C, and as much as 13 hours of sunshine each day, with the sea temperature reaching a warm 26C - ideal for swimming. There's virtually no rain throughout July and August, and the humidity is at its highest at this time.

The hot weather continues well into September, with the resort seeing temperatures of 28C and 10 hours of sunshine, dropping to 23C in October, when the rainfall increases. There's an average of 134mm of monthly rain at this time, rising to 188mm during the wettest month of December. Conditions remain mild in Kalamaki during the off-season, with the coldest month of January still seeing an average daily temperature of 14C.
