Skala Potamias is located on the sunny east coast of Thassos, an island famed for its white sand beaches and warm climate. September and October are popular holiday months in Skala Potamias. The weather is still warm, gradually decreasing from 25C to 19C and swimming is still available. Rainfall levels will begin to increase from mid October as winter starts to creep in. The spring months are a particularly beautiful time in Skala Potamias, the flowers will be blooming and the air will become warm and pleasant. During the April Easter holidays the temperatures will hover between 15C and 24C although the evenings may be slightly chilly.
