Troulos Weather

A holiday in Troulos on the Island of Skiathos will give you perfect summer weather. As it is one of the more northerly Greek Islands, the temperatures on Skiathos do not usually reach the extreme highs that can occur on its more southerly neighbours. Summer temperatures will climb to around 29C and with over 10 hours sunshine to be had Troulos is an ideal summer destination. With sea temperatures around 24C in July and August water sports fans will not be disappointed.

The winter rains have gone and with temperatures rising to 18C in April and 23C in May, spring is a fantastic time to visit Troulos. Still giving 8 hours of sunshine per day but with lower temperatures, it is the perfect time of year for many, especially for walkers who like to explore. A late break in September will still see temperatures of 26C but October sees the temperatures drop to around 20C and is the start of the rainy season. The rains are heaviest in November through to January with an average rainfall of 150mm which keep the landscape lush and green throughout the year.
