Kolios Things to Do

Relax
A laid-back beach resort set in an attractive bay, Kolios is popular each year with those who simply want to switch off, chill out and forget it all for a couple of weeks.

Beach
As well as topping up your tan at Kolios Bay, you could also take advantage of the wide bay Kolios shares with the neighbouring resorts of Vromolimnos beach (with its large beach bar) and Troulos beach. Several other sandy beaches are only a bus, car or boat trip away. What’s more, just a short walk from Kolios is the popular Platanias Beach (Aghia Paraskevi) with its long sandy beaches, fun pool bar, and more.

Swimming & Water Sports
The swimming at Kolios is great as the shallow clear water means parents can relax, secure in the knowledge that their kids are safe. What’s more, there is boat hire and a range of water sports available at nearby Platanias Beach.

Country Walks
If exploring the local area around Kolios ever takes your fancy, there are some scenic walks to enjoy around the quiet surrounding countryside. 

Eating Out
Not only does Kolios have welcoming tavernas, it is also only a stone’s throw from vibrant Skiathos Town, the island’s capital. There you could take your pick from a choice of sophisticated bars, traditional tavernas and countless restaurants where excellent grilled fish is always on the menu.

Nightlife
Kolios does not have a nightclub scene to speak of. And for many visitors to Kolios, that is part of the resort’s appeal. But if you ever feel up for a great night out, then simply head for Skiathos Town (only a short taxi ride away) where the you’ll find plenty of packed bars and lively nightclubs.
