Perivolos Weather

The resort of Perivolos lies on the east coast of the island, between Perissa and Vlyhada and offers a peaceful base on Santorini. The average summer temperature is 27.5C and with a glorious 13 hours of sun each day, conditions are ideal for relaxing on the beach for a week or two.

 

The holiday season in Perivolos runs from May to October each year, with spring seeing warm weather ideal for outdoor activities, sightseeing and touring the island. experiences highs of 19C and there is 8 hours of sunshine, with these days being changeable with up to 28mm of monthly rain. May heats up to 22C with 10 hours of sun, and by June Perivolos is enjoying highs of 27C and plenty of sunshine - as much as 13 hours every day. The sea temperature reaches 21C at this time, and humidity is beginning to rise. Peak season months in Perivolos see average daily temperatures of 27C - 28C, with July to August experiencing the highest levels of humidity, and the resort remaining extremely dry throughout the summer months, receiving virtually no rainfall at all. The waters of the Aegean are ideal for swimming and water sports during the hot summer season, thanks to the sea temperature heating up to 24C.

 

September holidays will still be hot in the resort, with average daytime temperatures of 25C and 10 hours of sunshine, and the weather staying very dry, seeing just 14mm of rain. By October, there's more changeable conditions when the town sees 61mm of rainfall, and the temperature drops to 22C. The off-season months see as much as 114mm of rain, and winters remain mild in Perivolos, with the temperature not dropping below 14C, even in the coolest months of January and February.
