Pastida Weather

The picturesque village of Pastida exudes a tranquil atmosphere that is complimented by its sunny climate. Located just inland on the north coast of Rhodes, Pastida will be ideal for sun lovers. Temperatures in the north of Rhodes can be high but the heat is not as intense as it can be on the south of the island. With over 300 days of sunshine per year it should come as no surprise that Rhodes is called the Sun Island. Holiday makers who are looking for guaranteed sunshine during their annual break will find Pastida an ideal destination. Temperatures during June, July and August will head up to and over 30C. The summer months are long and hot, and May through October is considered the summer season in Pastida. Humidity levels may be slightly high for some during the peak months of July and August and the sea waters will be the perfect place to cool off. The Meltemi winds will bring welcome respite from the heat during the hot afternoons. Evening temperatures in Pastida will be a minimum 22C; perfect for dining in those open air garden restaurants.

 

Easter and October holidays in Pastida are popular thanks to the warm weather. Temperatures during the beautiful spring and autumn months will hover just over the 20C mark; perfect for day trips to Rhodes Town and Turkey. Humidity levels do drop significantly during the spring, autumn and winter months although there will be elevated rainfall levels. Winters in Pastida are still sunny with temperatures hovering around the 16C level with four hours of warm sunshine per day being the norm.
