Lardos sits on the sun drenched south east coast of Rhodes, an area that enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year. Lardos’s Mediterranean climate of long hot summers and warm winters has made this beautiful beach resort a favourite with UK holiday makers. Summer temperatures in Lardos can easily hit 30C and over and rainfall is practically nonexistent. Spring and autumn months are warm and pleasant and considered by some as the best time to visit. Weather in Lardos – The perfect beach weather
With summer temperatures reaching 30C along with 12 hours of hot sunshine per day the weather in Lardos will be ideal for sun lovers. The beaches at Lardos, Pefkos and Lindos become busy with holiday makers relaxing in the sun and enjoying the numerous water sports. Humidity levels can be high during July and August and the Meltemi winds will bring welcome respite from the heat. Rainfall will not disturb any summer holiday in Lardos, and even the evening temperatures are a warm 22C. The south of Rhodes does receive higher temperatures than the north so adequate sun protection should always be taken.

The spring and autumn weather in Lardos is warm and pleasant and ideal for exploring Rhodes. Temperatures in Lardos during these seasons will range from 20C in April to 23C in October; it is still possible to swim in the sea during November. Humidity levels will be low during spring and autumn although some short lived showers are to be expected. Winters in Lardos will still be warm with temperatures of around 16C but rainfall levels will be higher during this season.
