Kremasti Things to Do

Kremasti beach is a short five minute walk from Kremasti Village and consists of a long stretch of sand and shingle, which is perfect for sunbathing. This is one of the most popular spots on Rhodes for both wind and kite surfing. There is an abundance of beautiful beaches along this coastline including nearby Trianta and Ixia, all of which boast views across the sea to Turkey.

 

There is no shortage of water sports in Kremasti and the neighbouring beaches. Jet-skiing, snorkelling, diving and ringoboats are just a few of the water sports available. Lovers of extreme sports can try their hand at kite-surfing and paragliding.

 

Daytrips from Kremasti to Rhodes Town will take around 10 minutes and will provide holiday makers with some of the best restaurants, bars and nightlife options on Rhodes. The scenic splendour of Butterfly Valley and its gorge should be viewed and can include a stop off at an ostrich farm en route. The thrills of the largest water park in Europe can be enjoyed on a trip to Faliraki as well as the chance to sample the best nightlife in the Greek Islands.

Golf in Kremasti is easily accessible by making the short trip to Afandou. Afandou’s spectacular 18-hole championship golf course is open all year round, is open to non members and is perfect for beginners and more seasoned golfers.

Numerous boat trips from Kremasti can be made by taking the short trip to Rhodes Town harbour. A hydrofoil leaves every day making the 45 minute trip to Marmaris in Turkey. Other boat trips can include day cruises around the Greek islands including Kos and Symi. Trips to points around Rhodes can also include the picturesque Lindos and bustling Faliraki.
