Afandou Weather – The best climate in the Greek Islands
Afandou is blessed with one of the most desirable climates in the Mediterranean. The long hot summer days will be ideal for those who require guaranteed summer sunshine. Weather in Afandou – High summer temperatures
Summer sunshine is pretty much guaranteed in Afandou from mid April until late October. Temperatures during the peak summer months from June until late August will hover around 30C but this can regularly be exceeded during July and August. Rhodes can be windy and cooling breezes will drift in across the coast to temper the high temperatures. Sun lovers will find the peak season months ideal; 12 hours of hot sunshine per day with no rainfall. With sea temperatures of 25C the beaches at Afandou and nearby Rhodes Town will be the place to spend those long relaxing days.
 
Afandou Weather – Warm sunshine all year round
April to October is considered the best time to holiday in Afandou. From April the temperatures will rise over the 20C mark and will not dip below until November. Holiday makers who prefer slightly cooler temperatures should consider the Easter holidays or October holidays. Both periods will be warm with some chance of showers and there will be around eight hours of sunshine per day. Winter holidays in Afandou are mild and short with temperatures hovering around the 15C mark with around four hours of sunshine per day. Holiday makers can soon be basking in the Greek winter sunshine within five hours of leaving the UK.
