The beautiful Mediterranean climate of Greece means long hot days all summer long. With the temperature rising to over 30C in July and August and the sun shining for 12 hours a day it is perfect for those looking for that summer tan. The sea is a delight for swimmers and the abundance of sea-life is ideal for snorkelling and diving. After a long day on the beach, the evenings are still warm and most people enjoy dining ‘al fresco’ at the one of the many restaurants in Lefkas Town. Rain is rarely seen during the summer months.

Weather in Lefkas Town – Ideal spring break
Lefkas Town lends itself to that Easter or spring break as the temperatures will start to rise and rarely fall below 20C in April. Certainly warm enough to enjoy the beach, but not too warm to appreciate a bit of sightseeing it is an ideal time of year for all the family to enjoy everything that Lefkas has to offer. After the winter rains the island is lush and green, the sun shines for 8 hours a day and the sea starts to warm enough for some to swim.

Lefkas Town still sees temperatures of 22C in October and only in November do they start to fall but only to around 18C. Many people take advantage of a quiet autumn break when the sun is still shining. Warm enough to still pick up a tan on the beach and enjoy the restaurants in Lefkas, it is an ideal time of year for families to take that half-term break. The winter months sees the start of the rainy season from December through to March but the temperatures are still good enough to tan on the sunny days.
