Tingaki Things To Do

The beach is the main focus of Tingaki, with the sands stretching for miles in either direction, and offering safe swimming for families. Quiet and peaceful, the beach is the ideal spot for relaxing sunbathing, and offers convenient sunbed and umbrellas.

 

Water sports available include banana boat rides, ringos and water skiing. The beach has good conditions for windsurfing. Paddle boats are for hire and visitors can venture offshore on snorkelling expeditions.

 

Hotels in and around the resort have swimming pools and tennis courts, facilities for mini golf, billiards, table tennis, gyms and fitness centres. Quad bike tours are also available. 

 

The resort is surrounded by both lovely countryside and flat saltpans, with walking, hiking and cycling popular pastimes for those looking for a change from the beach. Horse riding is also available, and a great way to get out and see the region.

 

The resort of Marmari is just a few kilometers away, and is home to a go-kart track, and there are two waterparks on the island to visit. Many hotels have childrens' playgrounds and the beach, with its shallow waters, is ideal for families.

 

Head to Kos Town for some serious shopping and dining, or take a boat trip to Patmos, Kalymnos or the volcanic island of Nisyros. Visit the nature reserve at Psaladi, the hot springs at Agios Fokas or the traditional village of Pyli. There are buses running from the resort, although a car is recommended to fully explore the island.
