Weather in Mastihari - Mediterranean climate on north coast of Kos
Mastihari lies on the north coast of Kos, just 25km from the capital, Kos Town. A laid-back port town, Mastihari experiences a typically-Mediterranean climate, with hot dry summers and mild winters, and remains a good base for a quiet relaxing beach holiday. Average summer temperatures in town hover around 30C, and there's as much as 14 hours of daily sunshine.
 
Mastihari Weather - Hot dry summers, ideal for the beach
The tourist season in Mastihari runs from May to October, with April seeing pleasant weather and average temperatures of 20C, and 9 hours of sun each day. Early season is ideal for outdoor activities and sightseeing before the days get too hot and humid, and in general the spring is dry, with just 34mm of rainfall. May heats up to 24C, and by June, Mastihari is seeing highs of 29C, and 13 hours of daily sunshine, with the sandy beach the place to be. There's very little rain at this time, less than 20mm, and the humidity begins to increase. Evening temperatures remain warm, with highs around 19C - 20C meaning plenty of al-fresco dining and evening strolls around the port. Peak season in Mastihari experiences soaring high of 32C and 14 hours of sunshine, and lovely warm sea temperatures of 26C. The northern meltemi winds blow along the north coast during the summer, making great breezy conditions for windsurfing and sailing in the resort.    
 
Weather in Mastihari - Milder, wetter winter climate
There's hot weather continuing throughout September, with highs of 28C, and 11 hours of sun, and by October the resort has cooled a little, with temperatures of 24C. This month sees wetter weather, with 59mm of rain, increasing to 166mm during the winter. December to February remains mild, with lows of 14C during the coldest months.
