Mastihari Things to Do
Port
A traditional fishing village, Mastihari still has plenty of Greek flavour, with the bustling working port as its heart. Here visitors can find numerous tavernas and cafes lining the waterfront, and regular ferries leaving on day trips across to the islands of Kalymnos and Pserimos. A typical village in Greece, makes for a peaceful holiday.
Beaches
The beach here is ideal for families, with the sands gently shelving into the shallow sea, and offering safe swimming conditions for all. Out along the coast are other hidden coves for even more peaceful sunbathing.
Water Sports
There's often some wind along the coast, especially in the summer months, making breezy conditions in Mastihari ideal for windsurfing and sailing.

Renting a bike is a a great way to get out and see the area, with the flat terrain well-suited to leisurely rides along the coast, or more strenuous journeys inland.

A holiday in Mastihari provides a good choice of places to eat, with plenty of the fresh fish brought into the port appearing on the menus in many tavernas and restaurants.
Day Trips
The Lido Water Park offers family entertainment close by, with pools, slides and a lazy river, whilst Kos Town for a change of scene and some lively nightlife. Tour the island and visit some of the authentic Greek villages inland for a sleepier pace, visit the beaches around Kefalos, or head to Marmari or Tingaki along the coast.
