Lambi Weather

Lambi lies next to Kos Town, and offers a quiet alternative to the bustling capital of the island, well within reach of its sights and attractions. Thanks to the wonderful beach in town and the Mediterranean climate, with hot dry summers and mild winters, Lambi offers a quieter base for a holiday on Kos, with an average summer temperature of 31C, and a glorious 14 hours of sunshine each day.

 

Although the season in Lambi runs from May to October, April sees warm days with highs of 20C and 9 hours of daily sun. The days are generally dry but a little changeable, with 36mm of rainfall during the month, with these early season days ideal for sightseeing and exploring, before it gets too hot. May begins to see temperatures rise to 24C, with 11 hours of sun and a decrease in rain, and by June the resort is seeing average daytime highs of 29C, and as much as 13 hours of sunshine each day. Rainfall is virtually non-existent, with the town seeing just a few millimeters each month, and the humidity rises, peaking in July and August. There's abundant sunshine in the summer, as much as 14 hours each day, and soaring temperatures of 32C, making the beach the place to be, especially when the sea temperature reaches 24C.

 

The hot weather in Lambi continues into September, when the average daytime temperature reaches 29C, and there is still 11 hours of sunshine, and by October the resort begins to cool down a little, dropping to 24C. There's wetter weather this month, with 59mm falling, and from November - January the town sees as much as 160mm of rain, and mild temperatures of 14C - 16C.
