Weather in Kardemena - Hot dry summers on party capital of Kos
Sitting on the south coast of Kos, the resort of Kardamena is a haven for party-goers and sun-worshippers, thanks to the island's long hot summers. The tourist season runs from May to October, when there's an abundance of sunshine, as much as 14 hours each day during the peak summer months, and highs of 31C.

The weather in Kardemena is warm in the springtime, with April seeing average daytime highs of 20C and 9 hours of sunshine. Conditions are relatively dry, with just 30mm of monthly rainfall, decreasing to 17mm in May. May sees average daytime temperatures of up to 24C, when there is 11 hours of daily sun, and the sea temperature hovers around 19C. By June, the town is basking in 29C temperatures and the sun is out for 13 hours each day, meaning the beaches begin to fill up with sunbathers and revellers. There is increasing humidity at this time, and the sea temperature rises to 22C. Peak season in Kardamena sees highs of up to 31C, and abundant sunshine for 14 hours each day in the resort throughout July and August, with the water temperature reaching 24C. Days are extremely dry all summer, with less than 5mm of monthly rainfall seen from June to August.
Weather in Kardemena - Long tourist season, running from May to October
The resort remains hot and sunny well into September, with average daytime highs of 28C and 11 hours of sunshine, although there is a slight increase in rainfall. By October, Kardamena is beginning to cool down with highs of 24C, and the weather is more changeable, with 62mm falling during the month. Winter sees the wettest conditions, when up to 165mm of rain falls, although the temperature remains mild, with the coolest month of January seeing highs of 14C.
