Entertainment
As well as the beach, Kardamena has a bowling alley, plenty of shops and restaurants, and regular nightly entertainment, such as games, competitions, bingo and karaoke. There's also a waterpark about 15 minutes away, home to a number of slides and pools - a great option for a family day out.

Nightlife
The town boasts a huge nightlife scene, with dozens of bars, clubs and discos to choose from, with some even staying open for 24 hours. There's something for everyone, from cocktail bars to sports bars, and plenty of dining options, including familiar British favourites.

Day trips
Many different boat rides available from the harbour, running along the coast, over to the volcanic island of Nysiros, where there are mud baths, or across to Turkey. Excursions include days out to Kos Town, or to some of the quieter resorts such as Kefalos.
