The summer holiday season in Lixouri stretches from June to September, with temperatures in July and August reaching 30C – perfect for topping up your tan at Lepeda beach with its fine golden sand. September means a slight drop in temperature, making leisurely strolls around nearby unspoilt fishing villages, such as Mihalitsata and Ankrotiri, manageable and a real pleasure.
