Water Sports
Water sports available include jet skiing, pedaloes, banana boat rides, windsurfing, kite boarding, paragliding, scuba-diving and snorkelling.

Exploring
Bicycle, quad bike and motorbike rental is available, and there are nearby stables for horse-riding - all offering an excellent way to explore the area. Away from the coast, the traditional village of Pano Gouves sits inland on the hillside of Mount Ederi, home to narrow streets, authentic tavernas, and a number of local churches, as well as breathtaking views.

Entertainment
The resort is fairly low-key and relaxed, with visitor’s content to stroll along the long promenade and enjoy evenings at the restaurants and bars. There is a good choice of dining options, with everything from local Greek to Chinese food on offer, and evening entertainment including traditional Cretan shows, barbeques, karaoke and live music.

Water Park
Located at Anopoli, just 20 minutes away, the largest water park on Crete, 'Watercity Waterpark' offers a great day of family entertainment and a change from the beach, with numerous slides and a lazy river to play in.

Day Trips
As well as popular boat trips from the marina out along the coast, to Spinalonga Island, or to Santorini, visitors can head to Heraklion to visit the museums and enjoy great shopping, visit the Crete Aquarium at nearby Gournes, tour the famous site of Knossos, or travel though the countryside and visit mountain villages such as Skotino.
