Kontokali Weather

Located just 6km from the island's capital, Corfu Town, the resort of Kontokali enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate, with hot dry summers and mild wet winters. The Blue Flag beach is the resort's attraction, and an ideal place to relax, thanks to 31C weather and 12 hours of daily sunshine during the peak season.  

 

The tourist season runs from May to October in Kontokali, with the beginning and end months being perfect for those looking to escape both the heat and the crowds. May sees warm weather, with highs of 23C and 9 hours of sunshine, and although conditions can be a little changeable, with 47mm of rain, it's a great time for exploring the island and enjoying outdoor activities. By June, Kontokali sees average daytime highs of 28C and 11 hours of sun, and the days are drier, with just 19mm of rainfall. The sea temperature is heating up too, reaching 22C, with this the humidity begins to rise. Peak season months of July and August see Kontokali basking in 31C weather, and enjoying 12 hours of sunshine each day, as well as warm waters with temperatures of up to 25C. Summers remain dry, with the resort receiving just 11mm of monthly rainfall, and evenings are pleasant with night-time temperatures reaching 18C.  

 

September stays hot and sunny, with the resort enjoying average highs of 27C each day, and as the season winds down, Kontokali sees more rain, around 74mm during the month. By October, the daytime high is 22C, with 6 hours of sunshine, and the weather is much wetter, with 147mm of rain. Kontokali remains mild throughout the winter, with temperatures not dropping below 13C during the low season months.
