Kassiopi Things to do

Kassiopi boasts a lively atmosphere and the popular main beach Kalamonias reflects this. This Blue Flag beach is popular with families, couples and singles. There are numerous water sports facilities and the clean clear water is perfect for swimming and snorkelling. There are numerous little sandy beaches along the coast that will provide a more relaxed and secluded atmosphere.

 

Water Sports
Water sports in Kassiopi can include water-skiing, paragliding and motor boat hire. There is a diving centre here that will provide lessons and dive excursions for both adults and children. Dive excursions can include night dives and wreck dives.

Boat Trips
Thanks to the main port there is easy access to various boat trips from Kassiopi. Take a trip to vibrant Corfu Town or sail around Corfu’s dramatic coastline and stop of at places of interest including the breathtaking Blue Lagoon. The traditional Greek island way of life can be glimpsed with cruises to Paxos and Antipaxos. A day trip by ferry to Albania should be included to view the archaeological site at Butrint and the beach at Saranda complete with palm trees.

Hill walkers, mountain bikers and hikers will be tempted by the 914m Mount Pantokrator and the surrounding hills. A visit to the remains of Kassiopi Castle and picturesque Avlaki Bay are also well worth the short walk. Holidaymakers can also explore the deserted village of Old Perithia along with the amazing Loutses Caves.

 

There is no shortage of land based sports in Kassiopi. Mountain biking, horse riding, tennis and golf are just a few of the activities avialable.

 

Kassiopi nightlife can be lively and there are numerous restaurants serving traditional dishes as well as Mexican, Chinese and Italian. There is also a good selection of bars and tavernas that provide entertainment during the late night hours.
