Ipsos Weather – 3000 hours of sunshine per year
With its fabulous beaches, vibrant nightlife and hot climate Ipsos has always been popular with UK holidaymakers. This resort is located on Corfu’s sunny north-east coastline and benefits from just over 3000 hours of sunshine per year. The peak summer months of July and August will see temperatures hitting 31C and over with virtually no rainfall. The climate is fairly stable for most of the year with long hot summers and very short mild winters. Rainfall will tend to stick to the winter months although there may be a few short lived thunderstorms during this period.
 
Weather in Ipsos – hot summer days and warm evenings
The warm weather does arrive early in Ipsos with temperatures heading over 20C during April. Visitors can expect temperatures of 30C and over from mid June until early September. This is the perfect time to relax on Ipsos beach or swim in the 25C Ionian Sea. Sunshine levels are high during the summer months and holidaymakers can expect around 12 hours of hot sunshine per day. The town is famed as one of Corfu’s liveliest nightspots and the 18C summer evening temperatures are perfect for al fresco dining and dancing in the open air bars.
 
Ipsos Weather – the perfect winter sunshine break
Those who prefer slightly cooler weather should consider visiting Ipsos during the spring and autumn months. The Easter and October holiday periods will see the temperatures hovering between 20C and 25C. There may be the chance of some light showers during these months but there will still be plenty of warm sunny weather to enjoy. Mild winters are the norm here, and temperatures will be around 16C with four hours of sunshine per day. A winter holiday in Ipsos is the perfect way to escape the UK chill.
