Aghios Stefanos is a relatively quiet relaxed and simple resort 30 miles from Corfu Town on the NW tip of the island on the cape of Kefali, with fine views of the Diapontian islands of the Ionian Sea and possessing an outstanding bay and extensive sandy beach. This resort has proved popular with families and British visitors, not least for this resort’s magnificent beaches and setting. The original old village of Aghios Stefanos, once home to both fisherman and farmers, is grouped around the church and the old harbour and has a couple of older tavernas. The new Greek-styled resort and port provide a few shops, bars, and a good amount of tavernas and entertainment. Some water sports are available. The airport is also only a 30-mile trip.
