Diving
Diving in France is an experience to remember, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran. The warm, crystal clear waters that reach 25C temperature in August are excellent for diving. There are over 30 diving centres in France and if you want to swim among wrecks, coral reef, or exotic fish, the dive centres will be able to take you to the best spots.

Horse Riding

From rocky mountains to forest paths leading to windswept beaches, horse riding in France is exhilarating trek. Taking an excursion by horse means that you can see much of the country not accessible by vehicles. Children are also well catered for during the summer months with their own pony trekking clubs.

Rock Climbing
With over 50 peaks exceeding 2000m and the highest, Monte Cinto, reaching 2710m, rock climbing in France is the ultimate high for rock climbing enthusiasts. Canyoning, which is climbing through majestic water falls and natural obstacles is also a popular sport in France. A degree of physical fitness is needed for both sports, but beginners are welcomed and can be assured of extra safety precautions at the numerous rock climbing centres around France.

Beaches

France boasts some of Europe's best beaches and with over 1000km of coastline you are never far from a white sand beach or secluded cove. The beaches in France are a delight and are also very child friendly; picnics in the sun, swimming and snorkelling, or just bathing in the sun are all popular on France's many beaches.
